Lucky Lindy was a famous aviator, inventor and explorer.  Lindberg made the first solo transatlantic flight from North America to Europe in 1927.  Flying from NY to Paris in his famous plane, The Spirit of Saint Louis, Lindy made the flight in 33 1/2 hrs.  Lindbergh rose to Brigadier General in the Army and received the Medal of honor in 1927.  Great history.
