This baseball statistician is know for the first to use baseball statistics to help managers during the games.. Branch Rickey hired Roth to became a full time statistician for his team the Brooklyn Dodgers. Later Roth moved to LA and remained with them until 1964 , when he then went to work for NBC and  was known for his game of the week input.  Interesting item, used but decent shape.
