These are the same design as the 1955 Topps All American issue.  Marinaro was a star at Cornell and later for the Minnesota Vikings.. He is probably best know for his acting role in Hill St Blues Playing officer Joe Coffey.  Marinaro was the runner up in the Heisman Trophy voting in 1971 to Auburns Pat Sullivan.
